Kennya Deodato Baldwin was born on 24th October 1968 in New York, USA. Although she is an American by birth, her ethnicity is mixed. She is the daughter of the renowned Brazilian music icon Eumir Deodato de Almeida. Her 80-year-old pianist, composer, record producer, and arranger dad got nominated for Grammys thrice. He won the prestigious award in 1974. It was for the Best Pop Instrumental Performance category. 

The name of Kennya’s mother is Mary Ellen Deodato. Sadly, she passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 50 years. Deodato’s daughter went to the class of 1984 at York Preparatory School in New York. Later she got admitted to the Parsons School of Design in Lower Manhattan. 

She Became A Baldwin in 1990

Kennya Deodato met her man in 1987 at a subway station in New York. Soon love blossomed and they started dating. After 3 years of courtship, they tied the knot on June 10, 1990.
